# SuperKEY

> SuperKEY (superkey.taiso.ai) is a multi-provider AI gateway with usage-based
> billing built in, made by Taiso (taiso.ai). One OpenAI-compatible API key
> ("sk-live-…") reaches every model in the SuperKEY catalog; the same platform
> meters usage and can bill an AI product's end customers white-label, as an
> integrated service.

## What SuperKEY offers

- **Wholesale model access (supply):** privileged upstream relationships —
  custom deals, off-peak capacity, throughput commitments — pooled behind one
  catalog with wholesale unit economics.
- **Smart routing (optimization):** requests are routed, retried and failed
  over across upstream providers automatically; upstream rate limits and
  outages are absorbed behind the key.
- **Billing infrastructure:** white-label usage-based billing embedded inside a
  customer's own product — metering, budgets, invoices under their brand, at
  prices they set. Offered as an integrated service, not a public marketplace.

## Models

Stable aliases (the upstream behind each alias can improve without any code
change by the customer): `superkey-flash` (fastest and cheapest; classification,
extraction, autocomplete, high-volume pipelines), `superkey-mini` (everyday
chat/agents/RAG workhorse), `superkey-max` (deepest reasoning; code and hard
analysis). 140+ further models — vision, audio, image and realtime specialists —
are promoted to `superkey-*` aliases as they clear verification. Every listed
alias is verified for streaming, JSON mode and tool calling.

## Integration

Drop-in OpenAI-compatible: point an existing OpenAI client at
`https://app.superkey.taiso.ai/v1/chat/completions` with a SuperKEY key and a
`superkey-*` model name. Usage is metered per request and reconciled daily
against upstream provider invoices (drift over 2% is escalated to a human), so
bills are provable rather than estimated.
